Meet Dr. Karmo!

Dr. Natalia Karmo was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit and attended Oakland University in Auburn Hills, where she received her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Health Sciences. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Illinois. As president of her class, Dr. Karmo advocated for her colleagues and her patients by making it a top priority that clinical work was prioritized and patient experiences were optimized. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Karmo moved to Novi, MI where she and her husband, Travis, are raising their three children, Avery, Levi and Aspen.

Dr. Karmo is passionate about her craft and understands that dentistry is about more than just teeth, it’s about people and relationships. She has a fun-loving personality mixed with a keen attention to detail that really helped her find the field of dentistry as a calling. After years of practice in Oakland County, she is excited to plant her roots in this practice and commit to the long term growth of this practice with all of its exceptional patients and team members.

Dentistry is an ever-evolving field of science and practice which requires constant education and commitment. Dr. Karmo is always keeping up to date by taking part in continuing education courses which better equip her and her staff to treat medically/dentally complex patients, including management of dental anxiety, pediatrics, dental emergencies, implants, oral surgery, and endodontics. She also has extensive experience in esthetic Botox therapy and Invisalign orthodontics. Keeping up with new technological advances and the most up-to-date research allows Dr. Karmo to offer her patients a more streamlined, comfortable, and higher quality dental experience.

Kelly Johnston Gatteri D.M.D.

Dr. Kelly Gatteri graduated from Midwestern University in Illinois. Before dental school, she was born and raised in Milford, Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and four pets.

Dr. Gatteri strives to provide compassionate care for her patients and strongly believes in treating patients as she would like to be treated. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through preventative and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr Gatteri enjoys educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall well-being. By staying current with latest advancements in dentistry and attending extensive continuing education courses, she ensures her patients receive high-quality care that promotes long-term health.

Dr. Khash Azimi, Board Certified Periodontist

Dr. Khash completed his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014 where he majored in Chemistry. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he served as Class President from 2014-2018. Soon thereafter he completed his Master of Science (MS) & Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontics and Dental Implants at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry & St. John Hospital Health System in Michigan in 2021. He is a Board-Certified Periodontist from the American Board of Periodontology and the State of Michigan.

After his periodontics residency, he began his active duty to serve in the United States Air Force. He completed his Officer Training School and Squadron Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base to further advance his leadership and military training. He served at Andrews Air Force base from 2021 to 2023 as a periodontist and Associate Professor in AEGD residency program.

Dr. Khash is well versed & experienced in all aspects of periodontics and dental implant placement. His experience working side by side with prosthodontists and oral surgeons in the Air Force using the Latest technology allows him to see treatment approaches from both restorative and surgical perspectives.

He enjoys teaching and loves being an educator. Dr. Khash takes pride in sharing his expertise in periodontal treatment and dental implants with fellow clinicians and his residents. He is a member of the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, member of the American Dental Association, and the Michigan Dental Association.

Dr. Khash and his wife are very excited to be back in Michigan. He is currently working full-time in private practice and part-time in Air National Guard. He is dedicated to serving his patients to address their periodontal and dental implant needs with commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction. He is fluent in Farsi and English. He and his wife currently resides in Lake Orion. He treasures time spent with his family and friends and enjoys playing soccer and traveling.
